Momentum - How Much We Raised
A huge thank you to everyone who came together throughout September to support Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Thanks to your generosity and energy, we’ve been able to make a real difference for Momentum Children’s Charity, which provides vital support to families facing childhood cancer.
✨ Colets members and staff raised an incredible £400
✨ Colets Nursery families and team raised an amazing £505
That’s a fantastic £905 in total going directly to Momentum!
We’re so proud of the effort, kindness and community spirit that made this possible - every pound raised will help bring comfort and hope to families when they need it most.

👻 Kids Halloween Party 🦇
Things will get a little spooky on Friday 24th October at our annual Kids Halloween Party. Open to all kids 4 years and over, Koolkats disco will be playing some haunted beats, plus there'll be arts and crafts, face painting, and of course… lots of fancy dress!
£8 per child (food included).
Only 40 spaces so book fast.

The ever popular Colets Kids Camp is back for all you members who need a bit of peace over half-term.
Get set for a spooooooktacular week of fun, games, and ghoulish adventures! 👻✨

It's back, and it's going to be riotous!
Come and be tickled by Ivo Graham, James Dowdeswell, Luke Chilton and your MC for the night, Elaine Blackmore. Doors Open at 19:00 Starts at 20:15.

For anyone aged 3-12, we specialise in creating unforgettable birthday celebrations for children and offer 4 different theme options. All you need to do is bring the cake, and we'll do the rest.
And if you're not that young anymore, did you know you can hire Basil's, for free?!
As a Colets member, you can enjoy free venue hire on select dates in 2025, including Saturday evenings - perfect for making your celebration extra special.

The Nursery are celebrating Harvest Festival by supporting our local food bank. The children will be bringing in non-perishable food items and toiletries as donations.
If you'd like to support the Nursery with its efforts, you can bring in donations and leave them at the Nursery reception on October 5th.

Gentle Reminder from the Basil's Team
As we head into a busy period at the club, we kindly remind members to have their membership cards ready when making purchases at the bar. This will help us keep queues moving and reduce waiting times.

Handwashing Experiment from the Early Years Team
Our Early Years team has shared a fun activity to help children understand the importance of washing hands properly.
Sprinkle a little glitter on your hands and explain to your little ones that the glitter represents germs. Then, shake hands with someone else and see how quickly the “germs” spread!
Finally, wash your hands with soap and warm water to see how those pesky germs disappear.
Also useful for adults!
