Current Vacancies:

Receptionist

This is an important and busy public-facing role whereby the receptionist acts as a first point of contact for members, suppliers and visitors. The key duties are dealing with general enquires / bookings over the telephone or in person, keeping the reception area clean and tidy along with other ad hoc duties as requested by the management team. A full job description will be available at interview stage.

This role will involve varied shift work including early / late shifts as well as weekend shifts. The right candidate must be an approachable ‘people’ person, effective communicator, able to work under pressure and IT competent (Colets currently utilises the leisure management software Gladstone MRM Plus2).

Salary is dependent upon age and experience.

Bar & Café Bar Operative

We are looking for part-time operatives to work in our busy Bar and Café Bar departments. Shifts will include evenings, early mornings and weekends. Salary is dependent on age and experience. Part-Time Kitchen Support

We are currently looking for part-time operatives to work in our busy and thriving kitchen.

This role will involve supporting and assisting the Kitchen in the preparation, cooking and serving of meals. The candidate will be expected to prepare:

  • Sandwiches, paninis, children’s food and other basic Café Bar food items;
  • Hot /cold  food for our members / customers;
  • Food for our weekly functions and events including the Club’s weekend sporting teams.

Shifts will include evenings, early mornings as well as weekends and candidates should be available to cover at short notice for staff sickness. Candidates should be the holder of a Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene for Catering certificate (full job training will be provided). Salary is dependent upon age and experience.

Lifeguards

We are currently looking for part-time Lifeguards. The right candidate must be the holder of a NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification). Salary is dependent upon age and experience. Shifts will include evenings, early mornings as well as weekends. Kids Trampoline Coach

Responsible, fun and outgoing character needed for trampoline coaching on various days and times throughout the week.

All candidates require the following specifications to apply for the Kids’ Trampoline Coach Position:

  • Trampoline coach level 2/3 qualification.
  • Experience of working with children aged 4-14yrs
  • Relevant trampoline coaching experience
  • Enthusiasm, creativeness and team work are essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility, self-motivation and able to work under pressure
  • First aid trained is desirable but not essential
  • Must be able to work at least one evening a week and Saturday mornings throughout term-time.
  • Would also be available for children’s parties on weekday afternoons and occasional days in school holidays.
